Green Man Festival 2027
How to get Green Man tickets with your group
Green Man 2027 hasn't been announced, and the last edition cleared in under two hours. Exact Weekend or Settlement choices, age bands, lead bookers, live-in vehicles, parking, coach and access needs all have to line up before a sale date lands.
Green Man Festival 2027

Using 2026 artworkWhat is Green Man?
A Welsh-hills festival with its own mythology.
Green Man returns to Glanusk Estate near Crickhowell in Bannau Brycheiniog, and recent editions have run Thursday to Sunday in the third week of August - 2026 ran 20 to 23 August, with Settlement access from Monday 17 August for people taking the longer route in. The 2027 dates aren't announced. The useful mental picture isn't a giant corporate park-and-stage sprawl. It's a temporary village in the hills. Music, comedy, science, literature, family fields, late-night Far Out energy, Welsh beer, muddy boots if the weather turns, and the Green Man burn on Sunday.
No 2027 acts are announced yet. The 2026 bill ran Four Tet, Wolf Alice, Wilco, Mogwai, Cat Power, The Beta Band and Sparks, which is very Green Man indeed: serious taste, without losing the odd corners. The size is part of why people love it. Our capacity signal is around 25,000, small enough to feel intimate and yet quick enough to sell out that a loose group chat won't cut it.
Dates
2027 dates are unannounced. 2026 ran 20-23 August, with Settlement holders arriving from Monday 17 August.
Place
Glanusk Estate near Crickhowell. Abergavenny station, a shuttle, coaches, Park & Ride, cycling or driving - all still to decide.
Scale
A smaller festival than the giants, but big enough and loved enough that a 25,000-capacity site clears in a couple of hours.
Why people come back
The hills. The discoveries. The family-friendly feel. And a Sunday ritual that makes the whole site feel like a real place.

Why tickets are hard
A couple of hours of stock, and a checkout that asks who everyone is.
Green Man hasn't announced a 2027 release, and says sale details will go to its mailing list. That makes joining it the only live action right now. The thing worth knowing while you wait is the pace: the 2026 edition sold out in well under two hours, before a single act had been announced. Whoever buys needs to know the exact category and the exact ceiling before the sale opens, not while it's running.
The categories aren't interchangeable either. In 2026, Weekend and Settlement tickets were different trips. Resident day tickets needed NP8 proof. Adult, student/under-25, teen, Little Folk and infant tickets each needed the right person attached. Under-18s needed a responsible adult as lead booker, and that adult had to enter with them. Live-in vehicles, parking, coaches, Park & Ride, accessibility. All of it sat around the ticket decision rather than after it, and none of it is the kind of thing a festival usually simplifies.
- Green Man used Tixel as its official 2026 fan-to-fan resale. Until it confirms the 2027 arrangement, treat any 2027 listing anywhere as unverified.
- Weekend and Settlement tickets change arrival date, budget, time off work, food planning and family energy. Decide which one your group wants before a sale date lands.
- Under-18 tickets needed the real lead booker in 2026, not whichever adult happened to be fastest on the day.
- Add-ons matter more than people expect. A live-in vehicle, a car park, Park & Ride, a coach or an access need can break a plan you thought was finished.
Minimum fields and decisions to collect
- TicketSellers account email
- Preferred access plan
- Likely ticket mix
- Maximum budget per person
Ticket glossary
The 2026 ticket vocabulary, which GM27 has not yet republished.
Weekend Ticket
Thursday to Sunday access with camping included in 2026. The normal festival-weekend shape.
Settlement Ticket
Monday to Sunday access for the longer week. Great if the group can arrive early; useless if they cannot.
Resident Day
NP8 resident day tickets needed address proof in 2026 and behaved differently from full festival tickets.
Tixel
The capped-price fan-to-fan resale Green Man used for 2026 once it sold out. The 2027 arrangement is unconfirmed.
TicketSellers
The agent Green Man sold through in 2026. The 2027 agent is unconfirmed, so have the account ready rather than assumed.
Age bands
Adult, student/under-25, teen, Little Folk and infant products in 2026, each matching the real attendee rather than the fastest buyer.
Lead booker
Under-18 tickets needed a responsible adult aged 21 or over in 2026, and that adult had to enter with them.
Travel add-ons
Car parks, Park & Ride, National Express, live-in vehicle and accessibility choices can be as important as the ticket.
The group method
For Green Man, the method is deciding everything in advance.
Green Man had a generous order cap in 2026: up to 10 tickets per order, six per ticket type, and one live-in vehicle per order or session. Treat those as prior-year mechanics until GM27 publishes its own limits. A cap that size is an invitation to send one prepared buyer rather than six hopeful ones, so the useful method here isn't "everyone buy anything". It's a shared brief.
Green Man group buying method
- 1
Lock the target ticket
Weekend, Settlement, resident day, age band, access route and add-ons should be agreed before a sale date is announced.
- 2
Assign buying owners
Decide who holds the card, who is the backup buyer, who handles under-18 groups and who still needs travel or vehicle add-ons.
- 3
Set the budget ceiling
Every buyer needs a maximum GBP price including fees, and the group should know whether a partial win is acceptable.
- 4
Record each move immediately
When someone buys, changes category or sorts travel, update the shared plan so nobody duplicates or misbuys.
10 cap
Primary sale cap in the record: up to 10 tickets per order.
6/type
Do not assume one cart can cover every age band or category mix.
1 live-in
Vehicle plans need their own owner because live-in passes are limited separately.
Before anyone buys, confirm category, max price and the person attached.
Green Man is too specific for heroic guessing. Weekend versus Settlement, age band and lead-booker details all need to be true before the official move happens.
Sale day
Keep the sale watch, the lead bookers and the travel in one plan.
A sale this quick punishes the same handful of mistakes every year. Someone buys the wrong age band. A Settlement ticket goes to a buyer who can only arrive Thursday. A teen ticket is bought under the wrong adult. A live-in vehicle friend gets a ticket but no vehicle route. The fix is unglamorous and it works. Write the answers down before the sale date is even announced.

Where TicketSquad helps
Stop Green Man sale day becoming chat archaeology.
Green Man isn't a festival you want to spend arguing about in the car park. You want the first drink, the first wander, the first accidental discovery and the relief of seeing that hillside open up around everyone. That's easier to find when the dull things are already done - real tickets, the right buyer accounts, children attached to the right adult, and a travel plan that matches the ticket.
TicketSquad gives a Green Man group one place for the ticket-agent account email, Weekend or Settlement preference, ticket mix, maximum GBP budget, lead booker, accessibility evidence, live-in or parking needs, coach or Park & Ride choices, and who is still unsorted.
That means the morning GM27 goes on sale isn't a scramble through old messages. It's a buyer looking at a clean answer sheet and making the right official move for the right person.
This is one way we help
The event page becomes the plan, not just the place you store names.
Once the ticket method is clear, the next question is everything around it: where the official links are, what kind of ticket or package the squad is aiming for, what the lineup status is, how people get there, where they sleep, and what they should know before they arrive. TicketSquad keeps that event knowledge beside the data your squad needs to submit.
