BST Hyde Park
How to get BST Hyde Park tickets with your group
BST has no sale day - it has a dozen of them, each announced with about a week's notice from September onward. This guide is the standing plan: the presale funnel, the strict resale rules, and how a group covers a per-show London sale together.
BST Hyde Park 2027
Using 2026 artworkWhat is BST Hyde Park?
A fortnight of one-night stands with the world's biggest acts.
American Express presents BST Hyde Park isn't a festival in the camping sense. It's London's summer residency for stadium-calibre headliners, spread across two-and-a-bit July weekends, with each concert day its own show on the Great Oak Stage. 2026 ran Garth Brooks - his first UK show in almost thirty years, setting the all-time BST record at the newly expanded 69,999 cap - along with ATEEZ, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and two Lewis Capaldi nights.
The rhythm is uniquely London. Gates at two, headliner by nine, curfew at half ten, and the Tube home. Between the concert weekends the site opens free as Open House, with outdoor cinema, DJs and kids' theatre on the same lawns. The 2027 series isn't announced yet, which is exactly why this guide exists. The headliners will land one by one from around September, and each one triggers its own days-long sale.
Dates
Late June to mid-July; 2026 ran 27 June-12 July. 2027 shows announce rolling from around September.
Place
Hyde Park, central London - a royal park show with gates at 14:00, last entry 20:30 and no re-admission.
Scale
Up to 69,999 per show after the 2026 cap expansion; blockbuster days sell out with waiting lists.
Why people come back
One perfect night. A bucket-list act, a London park at golden hour, and your own bed afterwards.

Why tickets are hard
Rolling announcements, each with a days-long fuse.
BST's difficulty is structural. There's no single on-sale to circle in the calendar. Headliners announce one at a time from September through spring, and each announcement starts its own sprint. In the 2026 cycle, Garth Brooks was announced on a Friday with the Amex presale the same morning at ten, the artist presale the following Tuesday, and general sale that Thursday. Six days, announcement to general sale. The blockbuster days - Brooks, Capaldi's Saturday - sold out fast with waiting lists, while legacy-act and weekday shows kept tickets into show week.
Prices tier by product and by demand. 2026 GA opened around £85 and stepped upward once early allocations sold, with Primary Entry - early GA entrance - at around £110, Gold Circle at £180, VIP products at £230, and hospitality running up to the £699 Roof Garden. Sellers are AXS and Ticketmaster only, and entry runs on AXS Mobile ID, a rotating QR in the app that can't be screenshotted.
- There is no single sale date. Each headliner announcement starts its own six-or-so-day sprint to general sale.
- Blockbuster days sell out with waiting lists while others linger, so you need to know which kind of show you are chasing.
- GA prices tier upward once early allocations sell, which means hesitating inside the sprint costs real money.
- A ticket listed for sale anywhere outside AXS official resale becomes immediately invalid. It is the strictest rule in this series.
Minimum fields and decisions to collect
- Target headline day or artist
- Preferred ticket type
- Maximum ticket budget
- Ticketing account email
Transfers and resale
One buyer can cover the crew - but not until thirty days out.
BST's ticket terms are blunt about selling. A ticket resold, or even just offered for sale, outside the official AXS resale becomes immediately invalid, and refunds exist only if a show is cancelled. Entry runs on AXS Mobile ID in the BST app - a rotating QR that screenshots can't capture - and box-office collection needs the payment card and photo ID.
Giving a ticket to a friend, though, is properly supported. The app has a free transfer function, and BST's own guide says it opens 30 days before each show. Your recipient needs an AXS account on the email you send it to, and once a transfer goes through it can't be undone. So one buyer really can cover the group inside the per-card limit - you just live with them holding every ticket until that window opens, which on a show announced in September means about nine months.
Plan for that gap rather than around it. Collect the account emails at checkout while everyone is paying attention, not in the week of the show, and send the transfers deliberately and once. AXS official resale at face value is the route for a genuine drop-out; it isn't a distribution method.
Ticket rules
Named or transferable? We checked.
Digital transfer via the BST app using AXS Mobile ID; transfer opens 30 days before the show.
Whoever holds the ticket gets in. So the crew move is simple: buy what you can when the sale opens, then use the TicketSquad Tickets board to declare spares and needs, and confirm each hand-over so nothing gets lost in the group chat.
The group method
Pre-decide everything; the sprint is too short for a group chat.
The BST method is preparing for a moment you can't schedule. Before September, agree which likely headliners the crew would chase and at what ceiling, and work out who holds an American Express card. The Amex presale is open to any Amex holder paying with the card, and it has opened the same morning as an announcement. Then when the right name drops, the plan just runs. Presale if the group has the card, artist presale via the free signups if not, general sale as the backstop, one buyer per order within the per-card limit, and everyone's AXS account email collected while you're all still paying attention.
BST Hyde Park group buying method
- 1
Write the chase list now
Which headliners get an automatic yes, which need a vote, and at what ceiling per tier - decided before announcement season.
- 2
Audit the presale keys
Any Amex card unlocks the first window (pay with the card); free BST and artist presale signups cover the second. Know who holds what.
- 3
One buyer, then collect the emails
One order within the per-card limit, or coordinated simultaneous orders. Take everyone's AXS account email at checkout - the transfer needs it, and chasing people nine months later is worse.
- 4
Transfer at thirty days
The in-app transfer window opens 30 days before the show. Send them deliberately and once, because a transfer cannot be undone - and screenshots never scan.
Buying and beyond
Watch September, then let the announcement find you ready.
Everything after the buy is just a London evening. No camping, no travel puzzle. Gates at two with Primary Entry an hour earlier, a no-re-admission rule worth respecting, and a 22:30 curfew that puts the whole crowd on the Tube by eleven. The board below keeps the cycle visible from announcement to encore.
~6 days
The Garth Brooks gap from announcement to general sale in the 2026 cycle.
69,999
The per-show cap after the 2026 expansion - and the record Brooks set against it.
30 days
When free in-app transfer opens. Before that, the buyer holds every ticket in the group.
For BST, the win is a standing plan that outruns a six-day fuse.
A crew with its chase list, its ceilings and its buyer written down turns any announcement into a single unhurried order. The presales are public and the Amex route is open to any cardholder - you're just ready before they are.

Where TicketSquad helps
A chase list that's ready on announcement day.
A BST night is the easiest world-class show your group will ever attend, provided the tickets were won in that six-day window months earlier. The crews standing in the Gold Circle decided in September. The ones refreshing waiting lists in July decided in July.
TicketSquad gives a BST crew one home for the pre-decisions this series demands. The headliner chase list. Tier ceilings per person. Who holds the Amex and the seller accounts. Buyer assignments within the per-card limits. And who is on which waiting list when a blockbuster sells through.
When a sale can run from announcement to general sale in six days, having the plan already written is the difference between presale prices and a waiting list.
This is one way we help
The event page becomes the plan, not just the place you store names.
Once the ticket method is clear, the next question is everything around it: where the official links are, what kind of ticket or package the squad is aiming for, what the lineup status is, how people get there, where they sleep, and what they should know before they arrive. TicketSquad keeps that event knowledge beside the data your squad needs to submit.
Event preview
BST Hyde Park 2027
American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2027 isn't a festival. It's a run of separate headline concerts in Hyde Park, each with its own bill, its own price and its own ticket, so there's no single weekend wristband to chase. Nothing is announced yet - no dates, no artists, no prices, no per-show limits - and the official site is taking sign-ups for 2027 news.
Official links and sale routes
In the app, these links sit next to the sale-day plan so nobody is digging through old chats for the official route when the queue opens.
Ticket and package choices
Lineup
Lineup details are still TBC. The event page keeps a clear slot for them so the squad can update the plan when official announcements land.
Buying tickets
Choose the show first
BST is a series of separately ticketed headline days. Collect each person's artist or day choice, acceptable tiers and maximum budget in pounds before any sale opens.
Travel & accommodation
Check the gate before you travel
BST uses the Parade Ground on the east side of Hyde Park, postcode W2 2UH, but which entrance you need depends on the ticket type.
When you're there
Pack for a standing outdoor day
chairs and seat sticks aren't allowed, the ground is mainly grass and there's limited shade. Weather-ready clothing and comfortable footwear do the work here.
Your data for this event
This is the form BST Hyde Park 2027 members would fill in for themselves, so the coordinator is not translating screenshots into a buyer sheet at the worst possible moment.
