BST Hyde Park
How to get BST Hyde Park tickets with your group
BST has no sale day - it has a dozen of them, each announced with about a week's notice from September onward. This guide is the standing plan: the presale funnel, the strict resale rules, and how a group covers a per-show London sale together.
BST Hyde Park 2026

What is BST Hyde Park?
A fortnight of one-night stands with the world's biggest acts.
American Express presents BST Hyde Park is not a festival in the camping sense - it is London's summer residency for stadium-calibre headliners. Across two-and-a-bit July weekends, each concert day is its own show on the Great Oak Stage: 2026 ran Garth Brooks (his first UK show in almost thirty years, setting the all-time BST record at the newly expanded 69,999 cap), ATEEZ, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and two Lewis Capaldi nights.
The rhythm is uniquely London: gates at two, headliner by nine, curfew at half ten, and the Tube home. Between the concert weekends the site opens free as Open House - outdoor cinema, DJs and kids' theatre on the same lawns. The 2027 series is not yet announced, which is exactly the point of this guide: the headliners will land one by one from around September, and each one triggers its own days-long sale.
Dates
Late June to mid-July; 2026 ran 27 June-12 July. 2027 shows announce rolling from around September.
Place
Hyde Park, central London - a royal park show with gates at 14:00, last entry 20:30 and no re-admission.
Scale
Up to 69,999 per show after the 2026 cap expansion; blockbuster days sell out with waiting lists.
Why people come back
One perfect night: a bucket-list act, a London park at golden hour, and your own bed afterwards.

Why tickets are hard
Rolling announcements, each with a days-long fuse.
BST's difficulty is structural: there is no single on-sale to circle in the calendar. Headliners announce one at a time from September through spring, and each announcement starts a sprint - in the 2026 cycle, Garth Brooks was announced on a Friday with the Amex presale the same morning at ten, the artist presale the following Tuesday, and general sale that Thursday. Six days, announcement to general sale. The blockbuster days (Brooks, Capaldi's Saturday) sold out fast with waiting lists, while legacy-act and weekday shows kept tickets into show week.
Prices tier by product and by demand: 2026 GA opened around 85 GBP with tiered steps upward once early allocations sold, then Primary Entry (early GA entrance) around 110, Gold Circle at 180, VIP products at 230, and hospitality up to the 699 Roof Garden. Sellers are AXS and Ticketmaster only, and entry runs on AXS Mobile ID - a rotating QR in the app that cannot be screenshotted.
- No single sale date exists: each headliner announcement starts its own six-or-so-day sprint to general sale.
- Blockbuster days sell out with waiting lists while others linger - the group must know which kind of show it is chasing.
- GA prices tier upward once early allocations sell, so hesitation inside the sprint costs real money.
- Tickets listed for sale anywhere outside AXS official resale become immediately invalid - the strictest rule in this series.
Minimum fields and decisions to collect
- Ticket seller account email
- Preferred BST day
- Ticket type preference
- Maximum ticket budget
The resale reality
Buy together, because buy-and-transfer is not the plan here.
BST's ticket terms are blunt: tickets resold - or even offered for sale - outside the official AXS resale become immediately invalid, and refunds exist only if a show is cancelled. Entry is the buyer's AXS or Ticketmaster account showing rotating Mobile ID codes, and box-office collection needs the payment card and photo ID. There is no published transfer mechanism to rely on.
For a group, that flips the usual method. At most festivals the fix for a misfire is transfers and name changes; at BST the fix is not needing one: the crew buys together in one order within the per-card limit, or as coordinated simultaneous orders, and arrives together with the buyer. The one sanctioned recovery route - AXS official resale at face value - is for genuine drop-outs, not distribution.
Ticket rules
Named or transferable? We checked.
AXS Mobile ID in the BST app; free in-app transfer to friends opens 30 days pre-show (recipient needs an AXS account). Sell only via AXS official resale.
Whoever holds the ticket gets in. So the crew move is simple: buy what you can when the sale opens, then use the TicketSquad Tickets board to declare spares and needs, and confirm each hand-over so nothing gets lost in the group chat.
The group method
Pre-decide everything; the sprint is too short for a group chat.
The BST method is preparation for a moment you cannot schedule. Before September: agree which likely headliners the crew would chase, at what ceiling, and who holds an American Express card - the Amex presale is open to any Amex holder paying with the card, and it has opened the same morning as an announcement. When the right name drops, the plan executes: presale if the group has the card, artist presale via the free signups otherwise, general sale as the backstop, one buyer per order, everyone arriving together.
BST Hyde Park group buying method
- 1
Write the chase list now
Which headliners get an automatic yes, which need a vote, and at what ceiling per tier - decided before announcement season.
- 2
Audit the presale keys
Any Amex card unlocks the first window (pay with the card); free BST and artist presale signups cover the second. Know who holds what.
- 3
Buy together, not for each other
One order within the per-card limit, or coordinated simultaneous orders - because transfers are not a safety net here.
- 4
Arrive as one
Mobile ID lives in the buyer's app with rotating codes, so the buyer and their group enter together, phones charged.
Buying and beyond
Watch September, then let the announcement find you ready.
Everything after the buy is a London evening: no camping, no travel puzzle, just gates timing (GA at two, Primary Entry an hour earlier), a no-re-admission rule worth respecting, and a 22:30 curfew that puts the whole crowd on the Tube by eleven. The board below keeps the cycle visible from announcement to encore.
~6 days

69,999
The per-show cap after the 2026 expansion - and the record Brooks set against it.
1 resale route
AXS official resale at face value; listing anywhere else voids the ticket instantly.
For BST, the win is a standing plan that outruns a six-day fuse.
A crew with its chase list, ceilings and buyer written down converts any announcement into one calm order. That is the entire trick, and it is completely within the rules.

Why it matters
BST is easier to love when the admin is already done.
A BST night is the easiest world-class show a group will ever attend - if the tickets were won in that six-day window months earlier. The crews that stand in the Gold Circle decided in September; the ones refreshing waiting lists in July decided in July.
None of this is touting or gaming anything. The presales are public, the Amex route is open to any cardholder, and face value through AXS is the only sanctioned resale. The difference is a group whose plan was written before the announcement.
Where TicketSquad helps
TicketSquad keeps the chase list ready for announcement day.
TicketSquad gives a BST crew one home for the pre-decisions this series demands: the headliner chase list, tier ceilings per person, Amex and seller account holders, buyer assignments within per-card limits, and who is on which waiting list when a blockbuster sells through.
For a sale that can go from announcement to general sale in six days, the shared plan is the difference between presale prices and a waiting list.
This is one way we help
The event page becomes the plan, not just the place you store names.
Once the ticket method is clear, the next question is everything around it: where the official links are, what kind of ticket or package the squad is aiming for, what the lineup status is, how people get there, where they sleep, and what they should know before they arrive. TicketSquad keeps that event knowledge beside the data your squad needs to submit.

Buying tickets
Choose the day, not the festival
BST is ticketed by headline day. Record the exact artist and date before any buyer enters AXS or Ticketmaster.
Travel & accommodation
Hyde Park roads
Royal Parks says park roads close at 11:00 on concert days. Do not make car pickup the core plan.
When you're there
Premium is a real split
if some people choose VIP/terrace/gold areas and others do not, pick an outside-the-site meeting point and accept that the group may split inside.
Your data for this event
This is the form BST Hyde Park 2026 members would fill in for themselves, so the coordinator is not translating screenshots into a buyer sheet at the worst possible moment.
