What is Lollapalooza Argentina?

Twelve editions in, the racecourse weekend Argentina plans its March around.

Lollapalooza Argentina fills the Hipódromo de San Isidro - the grand old racecourse in Buenos Aires' northern suburbs - with three days and roughly 300,000 people every March. The 2026 edition closed with Sabrina Carpenter's first Argentine solo show, Deftones and Kygo, after debuts from Tyler, The Creator, Chappell Roan and Doechii; the 12th edition runs 12-14 March 2027, the same weekend as Lollapalooza Chile in Santiago, with Brazil following a week later at Interlagos. Around a hundred acts play five stages, with a redesigned map that rebuilt Perry's as an immersive wraparound "island" and moved Kidzapalooza to the centre of the grounds - under-10s come free with a paying adult.

It is a city festival with the city's transport built in: the Mitre line's Tigre branch stops at San Isidro station beside the gates, night trains run to 3am on festival nights, eleven bus lines serve the venue, and official return shuttles head for Puente Saavedra, Plaza Italia and the Obelisco. Nobody camps; everybody rides home singing.

Dates

12-14 March 2027 - the 12th edition, sharing its weekend with Lolla Chile; Brazil follows a week later at Interlagos.

Place

Hipódromo de San Isidro, Buenos Aires - Mitre line to San Isidro station, night trains to 3am, official return shuttles into the city.

Scale

Roughly 300,000 over three days in 2026, across five stages and a hundred-plus acts on the racecourse turf.

Why people come back

South America's biggest bill in a city that turns out for it - with Kidzapalooza in the middle and the river down the road.

A night-time Lollapalooza Argentina crowd with fans on shoulders silhouetted against a bright main stage
Main-stage lights at the Hipódromo in the festival's early years - twelve editions on, 300,000 people make the March pilgrimage to San Isidro.

Why tickets are hard

The cheap phases lasted one day. The ladder only climbs from here.

The 2027 sale opened on 4 June 2026 and compressed its whole opening act into a single day: the Lolla FAM loyalty window (a new tier for fans with five or more editions, two passes per personal code) ran first, then Early Bird 3-day passes at 205,000 ARS - roughly 140 USD at the official rate - sold out alongside Preventa 1 before the day ended, cascading straight into venta general. AllAccess is the exclusive seller, listing General, General Plus Rino and Lolla Lounge 3-day tiers, with structured prices running from roughly 215,000 to 805,000 ARS depending on tier and phase. Day tickets are not on sale yet - historically they follow the lineup announcement in October or November.

The financing is half the story in Argentina: Santander Visa buyers get up to six interest-free cuotas, the Mi Personal app code takes 15% off while its stock lasts, and every phase that sells through steps the ARS price upward. The order caps are tight - the AllAccess default is four per event, and FAM codes carry two - so squads spread purchases rather than nominating one buyer.

  • The opening phases evaporated in a day: Early Bird and Preventa 1 both sold out on 4 June - every later phase costs more in a currency where waiting is expensive.
  • Tickets are personal and non-transferable, and Argentina has no official resale or transfer route - unlike Chicago or Brazil, a spare here has no legal exit.
  • The purchaser is the keystone: wristbands are collected or delivered against the buyer's DNI and payment card, so absent buyers make collection painful.
  • Caps are tight: four per order on AllAccess, two per Lolla FAM code - a squad of eight is at least two buyers, usually more.

Rules and phases

No resale, a real withdrawal right, and a named-purchase machine.

The rules are strict in an unusual combination. Resale is flatly prohibited - tickets from unofficial channels are invalid for entry with no refund, and no transfer mechanism exists. Purchases are effectively named: the cardholder presents DNI or passport plus the payment card to collect wristbands, whether by tracked home delivery or at collection points until the day before gates. But Argentine consumer law adds a safety valve most festivals lack: the statutory ten-day withdrawal right (the botón de arrepentimiento) lets a buyer unwind an online purchase within ten days, invoked at least 24 hours before the event - the service charge stays, but the ticket money comes back.

For groups the practical reading is simple: buy in the right names from the start, keep the buying cards alive until wristbands are in hand, and treat the ten-day window as the only undo button that will ever exist. Everything after it is final.

Know the rules and costs before you buy: each phase steps the price up, tickets are personal with no resale or transfer route, wristband collection needs the buyer's DNI and card, the ten-day withdrawal right is the only undo, and day tickets do not exist until the lineup lands.

Ticket glossary

Translate the Argentine shop before the squad checks out.

AllAccess sells in Spanish with Argentina's own retail vocabulary. Two minutes here saves a mistranslated checkout later.

Preventa

A presale phase. The 2027 cycle ran Lolla FAM, then Early Bird with a Santander window, then numbered preventas that auto-advance into venta general as each allocation sells out - price rising each step.

Cuotas sin interés

Interest-free instalments - the Argentine retail standard. Santander Visa spreads a pass over up to six monthly cuotas, which is how most local squads actually pay.

Lolla FAM

The loyalty tier that debuted this cycle: fans with five or more editions get a personal emailed code for up to two passes at the Early Bird price, a day before everyone else.

Botón de arrepentimiento

Argentina's statutory ten-day withdrawal right for online purchases - the only undo button, usable at least 24 hours before the event; the service charge stays behind.

AllAccess

The exclusive official seller for Lolla Argentina. Accounts, orders and wristband delivery or collection all run through it - nothing sold elsewhere is valid.

DNI

The Argentine national ID. Wristband collection is against the purchaser's DNI (or passport) plus the payment card - which is why tickets belong in the right names from checkout.

Ticket rules

Named or transferable? We checked.

Named tickets

Passes can be collected only by the buyer using their ID and the purchase card, and every wristband must be registered to its individual owner, so a spare ticket can't be freely given to someone else.

Each ticket is tied to a person's details at purchase, so passing one on later is restricted or costs a fee. The crew move: buy for each other, get everyone's details right the first time, and treat name changes as the exception, not the plan.

The group method

Several buyers, the right names, and cuotas doing the carrying.

With four-per-order caps, personal tickets and no resale, the Lolla Argentina method is distributed buying with the paperwork right first time: each buyer covers their own card's worth of confirmed people, in the names that will collect, at the phase currently on sale. The financing layer is where a squad saves real money - the Santander Visa cuotas turn a 280,000-ARS pass into six monthly payments, and one member with the Mi Personal code can shave 15% while its stock lasts. Foreign friends flying in should note prices are ARS-only and card-friendly, and that March in Buenos Aires is late summer at its best.

Lollapalooza Argentina group buying method

  1. 1

Spread the buying, keep the names right

Four per order, personal tickets, DNI at collection - each buyer covers confirmed people in the names that will actually collect, at the phase on sale today.

  2. 2

Put the benefits where they count

One Santander Visa in the squad unlocks six cuotas sin interés; one Mi Personal code takes 15% off while stock lasts. Map who holds what before checkout.

  3. 3

    Use the ten-day window deliberately

The botón de arrepentimiento is the only undo that exists - if plans wobble, decide inside ten days of purchase, not in February.

  4. 4

Diary the lineup for the day-ticket wing

Day tickets historically follow the October-November lineup announcement - the day-only crowd moves that week, while pass prices keep climbing behind them.

A calm Lolla Argentina plan has one place for the real answers: who buys on which card and for whom, names and DNI details as they must appear, each member's ARS ceiling at the current phase, who holds a Santander Visa or Mi Personal code, the wristband collection plan, and the train-or-shuttle route home each night.

This cycle

Buy the phase in front of you; let the lineup chase you.

The Early Bird ship sailed in June - the decision now is whether to buy at the current phase or wait for a lineup that historically lands in October with day tickets behind it. The honest maths: in a rising-phase, rising-peso market, waiting for names costs more per head, and the 3-day pass is the only product that exists today. A squad that trusts the festival's twelve-edition track record buys now in cuotas; a day-ticket squad diaries the lineup announcement and moves that week.

MomentWhat the group does
NowOnly 3-day passes exist, at the current phase price on AllAccess - agree who is in and buy in the right names before the next step up.
Financing setupSantander Visa holders carry the cuota purchases; the Mi Personal code holder claims the 15% while stock lasts; everyone logs their payment schedule.
Lineup week (~Oct-Nov)Day tickets historically arrive with the lineup - the day-only wing of the squad moves that week, at whatever the ladder then charges.
Wristband collectionHome delivery with tracking or collection points until the day before gates - the purchaser attends with DNI and the buying card.
Festival transportMitre line to San Isidro station beside the gates, night trains to 3am, eleven bus lines, and pre-booked return shuttles to Puente Saavedra, Plaza Italia and the Obelisco.
Festival daysThree pedestrian gates, gates opening around midday, Kidzapalooza in the centre for family squads - and a late-summer Buenos Aires weekend around all of it.

1 day

How long Early Bird and Preventa 1 lasted in June - the ladder has only climbed since.

4 / 2

The per-order caps: four on a standard AllAccess order, two per Lolla FAM loyalty code - distributed buying is mandatory.

10 days

The statutory withdrawal window after purchase - the only undo a no-resale market offers.

Santander Visa6cuotas sin interés

At Lolla Argentina, the financing is the strategy.

With no resale market and a phase ladder that only climbs, the win is buying the phase in front of you - split six ways on the right card, 15% off with the right code, in the names that will collect the wristbands. That is the entire trick.

The San Isidro racecourse from the descent into Buenos Aires, the Río de la Plata behind - a city festival served by the Mitre line and night shuttles, no tent required.

Why it matters

Lolla Argentina is easier to love when the paperwork is boring.

The memories here are the racecourse at golden hour, a crowd that sings louder than the PA, and the night train back to the city with the whole carriage still bouncing. Getting a squad there is a names-and-cards problem: the right people on the right orders, the cuotas scheduled, the collection plan agreed - all decided while the current phase still exists.

None of this is touting arithmetic - Argentina simply has no legal resale, so the plan is the whole game. The organised squad buys once, in the right names, and spends March thinking about stage splits instead of spare tickets.

Where TicketSquad helps

TicketSquad keeps the names, cuotas and phases in one place.

TicketSquad gives a Lolla Argentina squad one home for the whole plan: who buys on which card and for whom, names and documents as they must appear at collection, ARS ceilings that track the current phase, who holds the Santander and Mi Personal benefits, cuota payment dates, and the San Isidro travel plan for all three nights.

For a festival with tight caps, personal tickets and no resale market, the squad sheet is not admin - it is the only flexibility you get. Set it up once and the phase ladder stops being scary.

This is one way we help

The event page becomes the plan, not just the place you store names.

Once the ticket method is clear, the next question is everything around it: where the official links are, what kind of ticket or package the squad is aiming for, what the lineup status is, how people get there, where they sleep, and what they should know before they arrive. TicketSquad keeps that event knowledge beside the data your squad needs to submit.
