Pukkelpop 2027

How to get Pukkelpop tickets with your group

Pukkelpop 2026 sold out in 36 minutes and stayed that way. Nothing is on sale for 2027 yet, which makes this the useful time to settle days, budgets and names - and to split the group into checkout teams before a sale date lands.

What is Pukkelpop?

Belgium's tastemaker giant, built next to a railway station.

Pukkelpop packs around 66,000 people a day into Domein Kiewit outside Hasselt for four days of the best festival booking in the Benelux. No 2027 acts are announced yet. The 2026 edition ran 20-23 August, opening on the Thursday evening with dEUS, and its bill ran from Florence + The Machine, Deftones and Underworld on the Saturday to Tyler, The Creator, Blood Orange and Denzel Curry closing the Sunday, with Soulwax, The Hives, Major Lazer and Turnstile in between - more than 180 artists in 2026, and over 250 across nine stages in a recent edition. The Thursday evening has come free for combi and Friday ticket holders.

What makes it uniquely liveable is the logistics. Kiewit railway station is a five-minute walk from the gates, every ticket includes a free Belgian rail return from anywhere in the country, and the two campsites - Chill and Relax - cost a flat €43 to €45 for the entire stay in 2026. It's a big-festival lineup wearing a local festival's clothes, and Belgium has noticed. Tickets now vanish on a scale the festival has never seen before.

Dates

2027 dates are unannounced. 2026 ran 20-23 August, with the Thursday evening opening the weekend.

Place

Domein Kiewit, Hasselt - the Kiewit railway station sits five minutes from the gates, with a free rail return included in every ticket.

Scale

Around 66,000 a day across more than 250 artists and nine stages, with camping for the whole stay at a flat €43-45 in 2026.

Why people come back

The booking. Pukkelpop finds next year's obsessions early and stacks them four days deep, every August.

A rainbow arcing over the Pukkelpop site at golden hour, festivalgoers by the Marquee tent
Kiewit at golden hour, rainbow included. Pukkelpop sells this out in minutes now - which is why the planning happens months before the sale.

Why tickets are hard

Thirty-six minutes. The fastest sell-out in Pukkelpop history.

The 2026 sale opened on Valentine's morning and the combi tickets, at €287 for all four days, were gone in 36 minutes - the quickest sale the festival has ever recorded. Day tickets at €134 followed over the next three weeks, and by 8 March the whole festival was sold out, five months before gates. Nothing about 2027 is announced yet, and those prices are a budgeting reference rather than next year's numbers. What they do tell you is the pace to plan for.

The official site and ticket shop are still serving the 2026 edition, so don't treat anything on sale there as a route into 2027. When a sale does land, the group's job is coverage rather than luck: the decisions that cost people tickets are all makeable now, months before a date is published.

  • Recent sales have been February sprints. Thirty-six minutes for combis in 2026, with a six-per-person order cap deciding who covers whom.
  • The 2026 checkout collected attendee name, date of birth and gender. Assume named tickets and have the details ready rather than gathered on the day.
  • Every 2026 ticket stayed administratively tied to its original buyer, so updates, recycling-deposit refunds and resale all routed through them.
  • Unofficial routes are explicitly warned against. No TicketSwap partnership exists, and the festival says never to buy from strangers or social media.

The original-buyer thread

Every Pukkelpop ticket has had one owner of record - plan around it.

Pukkelpop's system has a quirk worth writing at the top of the group plan. In 2026, the person who placed the order stayed the account of record for every ticket in it. Only the original buyer could list a ticket on the Meet-Up resale, updates flowed through them, and the €15 camping recycling deposit refunded to them. A name change existed at €16, but it worked exactly once per ticket, and the festival's own advice was to use it only for someone you "200 percent" trust. The 2027 rules aren't published, and a festival rarely loosens this.

That makes the buyer role a season-long commitment rather than a checkout moment, so pick the person who will still be answering messages in August. It also means settling who is actually coming before anyone pays: a name you guess at the sale is a name you pay to correct later, once.

Three things the last edition taught. Name changes cost €16 and worked exactly once. Deposits and updates followed the original buyer, not the ticket. And the checkout wanted each attendee's name and date of birth. Settle all three before a sale opens and the fast year stays a logistics puzzle rather than a gamble.

The group method

Split the group into sixes, and decide the day-or-combi question once.

A 36-minute sale is decided before it opens. The 2026 edition capped admission at six tickets per person and order, so a squad of fourteen is three checkout teams, each with a prepared buyer and an agreed list of names. Treat six as a cautious planning ceiling rather than a promise until 2027 confirms its own limit, and settle the day-or-combi question now: it changes the budget, the camping decision and who is even coming.

Pukkelpop group buying method

  1. 1

List the need, set the ceiling

Who needs which days, and the all-in ceiling each person will pay. The 2026 combi was €287 and a day ticket €134, which is a starting point rather than a promise.

  2. 2

Decide day, combi or VIP once

Recent editions sold combi, day and VIP alongside separate campsites. The choice changes the budget, the camping decision and sometimes who comes at all, so settle it before the clock runs.

  3. 3

    Split into checkout teams

The 2026 cap was six admission tickets per person and order. Assign each prepared buyer their six, with a backup buyer per team.

  4. 4

    Collect the names first

The 2026 checkout wanted attendee name and date of birth, and changing one afterwards cost €16, once. Gather them before the sale, not during it.

A good Pukkelpop plan keeps the real answers in one place. Who needs a ticket, and for which days. The per-person ceiling. Which campsite, or a bed in Hasselt instead. Who is buying for whom. And whose name each ticket will actually carry.

Buying and beyond

Get the sale right, and the rest is the easiest logistics in Europe.

Once tickets are sorted, Pukkelpop is refreshingly simple. Recent editions have included a free Belgian rail return with every ticket, so you ride in from any station and walk from the Kiewit platform to the campsite, and the site runs on cardboard tokens - €3.60 each in 2026, cheaper by the 20-pack before the presale closed. The board below keeps the sequence visible.

MomentWhat the group does
NowNeeds, days and ceilings written down; day-or-combi decided; every member registered on the official shop and watching for a 2027 announcement.
Names gatheredFull name and date of birth for every likely attendee, held before the sale rather than typed into a checkout under time pressure.
Teams assignedPrepared buyers and backups, six people each on the 2026 cap, so nobody is deciding who covers whom while the clock runs.
Sale dayBuyers work their agreed lists; every purchase logged with its buyer and the names on it, first time.
After the saleCamping choices confirmed, deposits noted against the original buyer, and anyone still unsorted flagged early rather than in August.
Festival weekTickets in the right names, train tickets loaded, and the five-minute walk from Kiewit platform.

36 minutes

€16 to change

What a name change cost in 2026, and it worked exactly once per ticket. Getting the name right first is free.

6 per order

The 2026 cap - so every prepared buyer can cover six people through one checkout.

up to6xper buyer in 2026

The trick is per-buyer maths, agreed months in advance.

On the 2026 cap, each prepared buyer could legitimately carry six people through one checkout - so a squad of eighteen is three buyers with three agreed lists, entirely within the rules. If 2027 sets a different limit the arithmetic changes, but the preparation does not: what loses tickets is not knowing whose name goes where.

The confetti moment is what the admin buys: everyone in, nobody stuck outside because a name change was left three days too late.

Where TicketSquad helps

The February sprint, planned in August.

The best Pukkelpop stories are about the act you'd never heard of at noon and couldn't stop playing by midnight. Getting a crew there is a pile of small admin - names and dates of birth, checkout teams, a camping choice, a train code - and every piece of it is easier with the plan written down before the sale rather than during it.

TicketSquad gives a Pukkelpop squad one home for all of it: who needs a ticket and at what ceiling, which days they want, whose name each ticket will carry, who its buyer is - and which six people each prepared buyer covers when the next 36-minute sale opens.

A festival this easy to attend deserves a plan this easy to keep. Set it up once and sale day becomes a checklist.

This is one way we help

The event page becomes the plan, not just the place you store names.

Once the ticket method is clear, the next question is everything around it: where the official links are, what kind of ticket or package the squad is aiming for, what the lineup status is, how people get there, where they sleep, and what they should know before they arrive. TicketSquad keeps that event knowledge beside the data your squad needs to submit.

Buying tickets

Nothing is on sale for 2027 yet

the official site and ticket shop are still serving the live 2026 edition. Do not use those products as a route into 2027; wait for an edition-specific announcement.

Travel & accommodation

Hold off on non-refundable travel

19–22 August is an estimate, not an announcement. Wait for official 2027 dates before booking trains, flights or accommodation that cannot move.

When you're there

Expect a huge, varied site

recent editions ran more than 250 acts across nine stages for roughly 66,000 visitors per day. Pick a few non-negotiable sets, then leave time for long cross-site moves and discoveries.
