Shambala Festival 2026
How to get Shambala tickets with your group
Shambala uses Humanitix and named tickets, so the group needs real names, travel proof, age bands, camping choices, resale discipline and budgets lined up before checkout.
Shambala Festival 2026

What is Shambala?
A fiercely independent August field where the details are part of the culture.
Shambala Festival 2026 runs from Thursday 27 August to Monday 31 August at Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens in Northamptonshire, with the main programme over the August bank holiday weekend. It is deliberately smaller than the arena-scale festivals: the official FAQ describes 14,000-15,000 public adults plus children, with camping, hot showers, roughly 40 venues, family fields, talks, workshops, cabaret, woodland parties and plenty of glorious nonsense.
The 2026 programme includes Bob Vylan, Goat, Orchestra Baobab, BCUC, Los Bitchos, Emma-Jean Thackray, Hollie Cook, The Selecter, Penguin Cafe, Paranoid London, Nubiyan Twist, Led By Donkeys, Rob Hopkins, poetry, family programming and the Shambala Carnival. It also matters that Shambala is independent, sustainability-led and, from 2026, employee-owned. That tells you a lot about the way tickets, travel and site behaviour are framed.
Dates
Thursday 27 August to Monday 31 August 2026; gates open Thursday midday and the site closes Monday midday.
Place
Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens, Northamptonshire, near Market Harborough, with exact gate directions sent to ticket holders.
Ticket shape
Humanitix-only public tickets, named attendees, Green Traveller routes, age bands, Local Sunday, resale and camping/vehicle add-ons.
Why people come back
The mix of silliness, politics, family warmth, small venues, sustainable culture and late-night discovery.

Why tickets are hard
This is not a panic sale, but it is a details sale.
Shambala tickets are live through Humanitix, with resale and payment plans advertised on the current Humanitix page. That means the right first move is not to panic. If the ticket you need is still available, buy it through the official route. If the product you need is gone, wait for the official Humanitix face-value resale route rather than drifting into social screenshots or other platforms.
The difficulty is that Shambala tickets carry promises. The name needs to match ID. A Green Traveller ticket is only valid if the attendee arrives by the chosen low-impact route and can show the proof. Local Sunday tickets are for LE and NN postcode residents. Children, teens, under-5s, 18-25s and 70+ tickets all need the right category. General camping is included, but comfort, vehicle and access choices are separate decisions.
- Humanitix is the sole official public ticket agent and official resale partner.
- Ticket names need to match ID; collect the real attendee name before checkout.
- Green Traveller savings depend on coach, rail shuttle or Red Fox Cycling proof at entry.
- Local Sunday is genuinely local; non-local visitors need weekend access.
Minimum fields and decisions to collect
- Humanitix order email
- Ticket route
- Ticket name as on ID
- Travel plan
- Green Traveller proof needed?
- Camping plan
- Maximum all-in budget

The group method
Build Groups around promises: name, route, proof, age band and camping.
Shambala's current public pages do not publish a clear per-buyer ticket limit, though Humanitix says you can buy multiple tickets for friends and enter their names where required. So do not invent a Group size. Use the practical unit that Shambala gives you: people who share the same ticket route, travel proof, age category, budget and camping assumptions.
If your group is two adults buying the same weekend tickets, a simple checklist may be enough. If your group includes a Green Traveller, a car driver, a teen, a child, an accessible camping request, a Dragonfly upgrade and someone waiting on official resale, you need a shared plan before the buyer opens Humanitix.
Shambala group buying method
- 1
Collect the real ticket name
Ticket names need to match ID, so use the attendee name that should appear on the Humanitix ticket.
- 2
Split by travel promise
Green Traveller, driving, rail shuttle, coach and cycling routes should not be mixed casually in one checkout plan.
- 3
Decide age and camping categories
Young adult, elder, child, teen, under-5, Dragonfly, pre-pitched and vehicle choices all change the order.
- 4
Keep resale official
If someone drops out or a category is gone, use Humanitix face-value resale rather than unofficial screenshots.
1 agent
Humanitix is the sole official public ticket agent and resale partner.
1 name
Each named ticket needs the right attendee details before checkout.
1 proof
Green Traveller buyers need the proof that matches their selected route.
Shambala rewards exact details more than extra buyers.
The useful plan is having the names, travel proof, age bands, camping choices and resale fallback ready before the official checkout or resale moment.

Resale, travel and entry
Keep the Humanitix email safe and match the ticket to the way people arrive.
Shambala says Humanitix does not require an account to buy or manage tickets. You enter name and email, receive a confirmation email, and use the Manage Order button for resale and name management. That email is not admin clutter; it is the key to fixing a name, listing a ticket at face value when resale is open, or checking what was actually bought.
Travel is part of the ticket logic. Green Traveller buyers need the selected official coach, rail shuttle or Red Fox Cycling proof. Drivers need car or live-in vehicle planning. Rail travellers need Market Harborough or Long Buckby plus the festival shuttle. Everyone should expect reusable kit, the GBP25 recycling bond, limited phone signal and a site that works because people treat the practical bits with care.
Why it matters
Shambala is better when the admin disappears into the background.
Shambala is not the place to turn your weekend into a procurement exercise. It is a festival for wandering into tiny venues, changing your mind, watching a friend get pulled into something strange and realising the workshop you nearly skipped was the best bit of the weekend.
That is exactly why the ticket details deserve a little respect up front. If the names, proof, camping, vehicle passes and resale route are handled cleanly, the group gets to use its energy on the field instead of trying to repair a preventable ticket mistake at the gate.
Where TicketSquad helps
TicketSquad helps when the Shambala plan is more than one neat order.
TicketSquad gives a Shambala group one place for Humanitix order email, ticket route, ticket name as on ID, travel plan, Green Traveller proof, camping plan, all-in budget, guardian notes and accessibility needs.
You might not need every feature. If one person is buying two identical weekend tickets and you both know how you are getting there, a checklist may do the job. The app earns its keep when the group is split across Green Traveller, driving, age bands, Local Sunday, camping add-ons, resale and family/access needs.
The chat can keep the human bits: costume ideas, meeting points, who is bringing reusable mugs, and which tiny stage someone insists you have to find. It should not be the only place where the buyer is trying to remember a legal name, a travel proof route and a camping upgrade at checkout.
This is one way we help
The event page becomes the plan, not just the place you store names.
Once the ticket method is clear, the next question is everything around it: where the official links are, what kind of ticket or package the squad is aiming for, what the lineup status is, how people get there, where they sleep, and what they should know before they arrive. TicketSquad keeps that event knowledge beside the data your squad needs to submit.

Shambala Festival 2026
Shambala Festival 2026 is the small-but-mighty August bank holiday utopia at Kelmarsh Hall: around 14,000-15,000 public adults plus children, roughly 40 venues, music until the small hours, family fields, political talks, workshops, woodland parties, carnival silliness and a crowd that treats sustainability as culture rather than a poster slogan. This is not a headliner-chasing mega-festival. It is fiercely independent, deeply loved, and in 2026 it has become the UK's first employee-owned festival, which says a...

Lineup
Buying tickets
Humanitix is the only safe route
Shambala says only Humanitix public tickets are guaranteed for entry, and profit resale or other-platform resale can void the ticket. Social screenshots are not a workaround.
Travel & accommodation
Match travel to ticket type
Green Traveller buyers must arrive by their chosen low-impact route: Shambala Express Coach, rail shuttle or Red Fox Cycling Tour. If that proof fails, entry can be refused or a surcharge applied.
When you're there
Lean into the whole thing
Shambala is about wandering between music, talks, workshops, family fields, cabaret, healing spaces and tiny strange venues. Do not over-optimise it like a headliner schedule; leave room for discovery.
Your data for this event
This is the form Shambala Festival 2026 members would fill in for themselves, so the coordinator is not translating screenshots into a buyer sheet at the worst possible moment.
