How to get Open'er tickets with your group

Open'er takes over the Gdynia-Kosakowo military airfield - a working runway site on the Baltic coast just north of Gdynia - for four nights every summer, and it has grown into the biggest festival bill in central Europe. The 2026 edition set a record with 230,000 attendances across its four days: Florence + The Machine and The xx opened, Calvin Harris and Nick Cave shared a Thursday, The Cure and Martin Garrix split a Friday, and Jennie and Peggy Gou closed it out across the Orange Main Stage, Tent, Alter and Flow stages. Promoter Alter Art has run it since 2002; the 24th edition is confirmed for 30 June - 3 July 2027. The first 2027 names are in, with Tame Impala on Wednesday, sombr and Patti Smith Quartet on Thursday, The Neighbourhood on Friday and RAYE on Saturday, and more still to come.

The setting splits the accommodation question in a way most field festivals never offer: a full on-site camping culture (with glamping, sleephuts and camper zones above it), or a bed in the Tricity - Gdynia, Sopot or Gdańsk - with SKM commuter trains to Gdynia Główna and free "OF" shuttles running to the gates until 5am. Gates run 15:30 to 03:30, the site is fully cashless, and ID is checked at wristband exchange.

Open'er isn't a sellout panic - Final Call tickets were still buyable in festival week 2026. It's a price game with sharp phase boundaries, and the 2027 ladder for a 4-day pass shows it. FanTix, a newsletter-only pool capped at two per person and named, ran for one day on 25 August 2026 at 899 PLN. Early Birds followed the next day at 1,019 PLN with a cap of four, and sold out on 22 September, a day before its window was due to close. Regular is on sale now at 1,185 PLN until 9 June 2027 unless it sells out first, and Final Call is scheduled from that day at 1,235 PLN if tickets remain. Every price adds a 5% service fee at checkout, and waiting from FanTix to Final Call costs 336 PLN a head.

Both cheap tiers came weeks earlier than the early-October pattern the last few years set (the 2026 cycle opened on 7 October 2025, and its FanTix pool lasted about 15 hours), so anyone waiting for October missed them. If you're buying now, Regular is what's left, at a fixed price that holds until June unless it sells out. The only official sellers are eBilet and FanTix - the city of Gdynia itself warns that anything else risks counterfeits - and profit resale is prohibited under Polish law, with the organizer voiding resold tickets.

• The cheap phases are fast and capped. For 2027, FanTix was a one-day pool at two per person, and Early Birds sold out within four weeks at four per person. The 286 PLN FanTix saving over Regular on a four-day pass went to whoever was already subscribed.
• FanTix tickets are named. Only the person named at purchase gets in, photo ID is checked at wristband exchange, and the name can't be changed.
• No profit resale exists. Polish law prohibits it, the organizer voids resold tickets, and only eBilet and FanTix are official channels.
• The add-ons sell separately. Camping bundles, glamping from 4,950 PLN, sleephuts and camper spots are each their own decision with their own sell-out.

Open'er runs a mixed model that catches groups out. For 2027 the terms only ask for names on FanTix tickets, so only the person named at purchase gets in, photo ID is checked when tickets become wristbands, and name changes simply aren't possible. Regular and Final Call tickets are bearer tickets, which means whoever holds one uses it. The escape hatch for a named ticket is narrow and expensive. In documented, exceptional cases the organizer may approve swapping it for a bearer ticket. You buy the new one at the price on the day you ask, plus the fee, through the original seller, and the old ticket is refunded within 14 days once it's been checked. Early Birds were named in 2026 and the 2027 shop only marks FanTix that way, so check what your Early Birds ticket says before you hand it on.

For a squad the implication is precise. The cheap phases are personal commitments rather than tradeable inventory. Buying a FanTix pass for a friend who might come means buying a ticket that can't follow them out of the plan. The bearer phases cost more and carry the flexibility, and for 2027 they're all that's on sale, so a pass you buy today can go to whoever ends up coming.

The shop and regulamin speak Polish first, and the phase names are the festival's own vocabulary. Two minutes here saves a mistranslated checkout later.

For 2027 the job is choosing days. Regular comes as a day ticket at 565 PLN, a two-day pass at 855 PLN for any two days in a row, or a four-day pass at 1,185 PLN, each plus 5%. They're bearer tickets with a limit of eight per person, so one of you can buy for most of the squad and the passes can move between people if plans change. The FanTix maths still matters for next time. The cheapest pool was newsletter-only with a cap of two per person, so a squad of six with every member subscribed could have covered itself at 899 PLN a head, while a squad relying on one organised friend covered two people. Signups cost nothing and take a minute, so get everyone on the newsletter before the next cycle opens.

FanTix and Early Birds have sold out for 2027, and Regular is on sale now through eBilet and FanTix. A day ticket is 565 PLN, a two-day pass 855 PLN and a four-day pass 1,185 PLN, or 1,035 PLN and 1,455 PLN for the two-day and four-day passes with camping, each plus the 5% fee. That makes a four-day pass 1,244.25 PLN at checkout, or 1,527.75 PLN with camping. Regular runs until 11:59 on 9 June 2027 unless it sells out first, and Final Call is scheduled from noon that day at 1,235 PLN for four days if tickets remain. It can start earlier if Regular runs out. The preparation still takes about an evening. Agree which days each person wants, who is certain and who is a maybe, where you're sleeping, and a PLN budget with the fee counted.

The memories here are the runway sunset behind the Orange Main Stage, the Baltic swim the morning after, and the 3am shuttle full of happy people singing in three different languages. Getting a squad there is a calendar problem. For 2027 that meant a newsletter pool one lunchtime in August, an Early Birds month after it, then Regular at one price until Final Call in June.

For a festival where the discount belongs to whoever prepared in summer, the squad sheet is the price of the cheap ticket. Set it up once and you're ready when the next newsletter pool opens.
