How to get NOS Alive tickets with your group

NOS Alive fills the Passeio Marítimo de Algés - a riverside esplanade where the Tagus meets the sea, one train stop past Belém - with three nights of the biggest bill in Portugal. The 2026 edition drew 160,000 people: 48,000 on Thursday and a sold-out 56,000 on both Friday and Saturday, across eight stages and more than 120 artists, with Twenty One Pilots and Nick Cave opening, Foo Fighters mid-weekend, and Florence + The Machine, Lorde, Pixies and a Buraka Som Sistema reunion closing it out. The Guardian, Rolling Stone and CNN routinely file it among the best festivals in the world.

The 19th edition is already locked in for 8-10 July 2027, confirmed by promoter Everything Is New within days of the 2026 finale. And the format is gloriously urban. There's no campsite. Gates open at 3pm, music runs from 5pm until 4am, and the CP Cascais line puts on extra night trains to get you back into Lisbon afterwards. You sleep in an actual bed, in an actual city, and watch headliners with the Atlantic breeze coming off the water. If you've done your share of muddy campsites, this one feels like cheating.

The 2026 cycle is the template to plan against. Tickets went on sale around 1 October 2025, launched together with the first lineup name, at €84 for a day, €168 for two days and €199 for the 3-day pass. By 3 March 2026 the 3-day pass, every two-day combination and the Friday and Saturday day tickets were sold out - four months before gates, the only thing left to buy was the opening Thursday. The pass window, in other words, is October to winter; spring is triage.

The promoter has confirmed 21 August 2026 as the 2027 on-sale date, which has now passed, and Ticketline is confirmed as the seller. No sale time, presale split or price list was published ahead of it, so check the official page for what is actually live before you plan around a tier. Use the 2026 prices as your budget baseline until real ones publish: €84 a day, €168 for two and €199 for the three-day pass.

• The flexible products go first. The 3-day pass and both weekend days were gone by early March last cycle, so the cheap window is really October to Christmas.
• In 2026 there was no official resale and no name changes at all, and the promoter warned that secondary-market tickets can be invalid, duplicated or already used. NOS hasn't published its 2027 terms, so confirm before you count on any of it.
• A day ticket is one entry. Leave the site and you're done for the day. Only multi-day wristbands let you come and go.
• Once a pass becomes a wristband at first entry, it's locked to that person. Informal swaps only work before anyone has gone in.

This rule is worth getting exactly right, because it's more forgiving than it first sounds. The FAQ says tickets are “personal and non-transferable”, but it also says the printed name only personalises the ticket. An unused ticket in someone else's name still works at the gate. What actually changes things is first entry: a multi-day pass gets exchanged for a wristband on the holder's wrist, and after that it can't be shared or lent to anyone. So you can re-home a spare before the festival starts. You cannot once someone has worn it in.

The catch is that there's no safety net underneath any of this. No official resale exists, refunds only cover narrow cases like lineup changes, and the promoter is blunt that only official points of sale are valid. Which means the plan has to be right when you buy, and that's why the September conversation earns its keep.

NOS Alive rewards one thing above all: having the product conversation before the sale exists. The 3-day pass at the 2026 price of €199 cost less than two and a half day tickets and never has to guess which night the must-see act lands on - but it is also the first thing to sell out. No published per-order cap exists, so the constraint is card sanity rather than account count.

The 2027 on-sale date of 21 August 2026 has passed, and this festival has form for selling both weekend days months ahead and retiring the three-day pass by early March. So the job now is the same one, just more urgent: a product plan, a budget and a travel base, then a fast, boring, official checkout.

Worth saying what the planning is actually for. The memories here are very specific: the sun dropping behind the main stage as the river goes gold, a 1am headliner with the whole esplanade singing it back, then the slightly delirious shuffle to Algés station with fifty thousand other people. None of that requires outwitting anybody. NOS Alive just sells its best products months before most people start thinking about summer.
