Rock am Ring 2027
How to get Rock am Ring tickets with your group
The Ring's 2027 sale did 48,000 tickets in its first hour and the 2026 edition sold out eight months early. With ten tickets per order and camping tiers on their own clocks, one prepared buyer and one shared plan is the whole game.
Rock am Ring 2027

What is Rock am Ring?
Forty-two editions of German rock history, inside the Nurburgring.
Rock am Ring turns the legendary Nurburgring racetrack in the Eifel hills into Germany's biggest rock weekend: around 90,000 people a day across 4 to 6 June 2027, with the campsite culture running from Wednesday to Monday. Its twin, Rock im Park, plays the identical lineup the same weekend at Nuremberg's Zeppelinfeld - one booking, two cities, and every German rock fan has a side.
The 2026 edition sold out its full 90,000 - announced eight months before gates, the fastest in its history - with Linkin Park and Iron Maiden topping the bill. For 2027, blink-182 is already confirmed as the first headliner, announced on the big screens during the 2026 festival, and the sale opened days later. This is a festival that now sells mostly on trust, before the poster exists.
Dates
4-6 June 2027, with Ring camping open from Wednesday 2 June at noon until Monday.
Place
The Nurburgring, Eifel - the racetrack itself is the site, with camping tiers from quiet Green to Racetrack pitches.
Scale
Around 90,000 a day; 2026 sold out eight months early and the 2027 sale did 48,000 in its first hour.
Why people come back
The Ring is a rite. Five campsite days, three headline nights, and a crowd that treats it as an annual reunion.

Why tickets are hard
A live sale with rising phases and a sell-out precedent.
The 2027 sale opened on 9 June 2026 at noon and did 48,000 festival tickets in the first hour - the biggest on-sale in the festival's history, more than half the capacity, with no lineup beyond one headliner. Tickets sell through Eventim in stepped price phases that rise as allocations sell. The festival ticket launched at €249, and the twin sale at Rock im Park showed exactly how fast the ladder climbs - its first tier went in minutes and the price had stepped three times within days.
The real group puzzle sits around the main ticket, and it's camping. General and Green camping start at €89, power camping tiers run €139 to €259, and the premium products vanish first. Utopia Stage Camping sold out inside the first hour, and several vehicle badge zones have already gone. Given that 2026 sold out completely by October, waiting for the poster is a strategy with a documented failure mode.
- Price phases only step upward, and the 2026 cycle showed where that ends. Completely sold out, eight months before gates.
- Camping tiers sell on their own clocks - the premium pitches went in the first hour while festival tickets remained.
- Ring and Park tickets are separate venue-specific products for the same lineup: the group must pick a city before anyone buys.
- Day tickets do not exist yet - they historically arrive after the lineup fills in, in combination with parking or camping.

The twin decision
Ring or Park: same bands, different weekends entirely.
The twin structure is unique in Europe: the same lineup plays both sites the same weekend, but the trips couldn't be more different. Rock am Ring is the bigger legacy site - a racetrack in the countryside with five days of campsite life around the music. Rock im Park is the city option at Nuremberg's Zeppelinfeld, where hotels are an option and the camping is bundled into the ticket. The products are separate and not interchangeable, and even the pricing structures differ: the Ring sells ticket and camping separately, while Park bundles them.
For a split crew, that means the city question comes before the money question. Answer it once, in writing, before the first purchase - because a group scattered across two venues three hundred kilometres apart has made the one mistake no resale route fixes.
Ticket rules
Named or transferable? We checked.
Tickets are not entry-personalised before wristband validation; face-value private handover is practical, fanSALE is the official fan-to-fan route, and commercial above-face resale can void the ticket.
Whoever holds the ticket gets in. So the crew move is simple: buy what you can when the sale opens, then use the TicketSquad Tickets board to declare spares and needs, and confirm each hand-over so nothing gets lost in the group chat.
The group method
Ten per order makes one prepared buyer worth a whole crew.
Rock am Ring has the friendliest group mechanics on the circuit. Bearer tickets, instalment plans through Eventim, and a cap of ten tickets per customer. One prepared buyer with the group's money and list can legitimately carry ten people through a single checkout. The whole method is making sure that buyer moves before the phase steps, with the camping products in the same basket as the tickets.
Rock am Ring group buying method
- 1
Answer Ring or Park first
Same lineup, different cities, separate tickets. The whole crew decides once, in writing, before any money moves.
- 2
Assign one buyer per ten
Bearer tickets and a ten-per-order cap mean one prepared buyer covers the crew in a single checkout - tickets and camping together.
- 3
Budget at the current phase, never the launch price
Phases step without notice. Agree ceilings that survive a step or two, and use Eventim instalments deliberately rather than in a panic.
- 4
Pick the camping tier while it exists
General, Green, power tiers, Racetrack - the premium pitches went in the first hour. Treat the sleep plan as part of the buy rather than an afterthought.
Buying and beyond
Lock the phase, lock the pitch, then let the Ring do the rest.
Everything after the buy is logistics on a five-day arc. Camping from Wednesday noon. The drive or shuttle into the Eifel. Power and vehicle badges for the crews who brought the kitchen sink. And a Monday morning teardown. The board below keeps the whole cycle visible.
10 per order
The official Eventim cap - one prepared buyer can carry a whole crew.
48k in 1 hour
The 2027 on-sale's opening pace, with only one headliner announced.
8 months early
How far ahead the 2026 edition sold out all 90,000 tickets.
Ten per order is the honest maths of the Ring sale.
One prepared buyer with the crew's list and money covers ten people in a single checkout, at a single phase price, with the camping in the same basket. It's the cap doing the work, and the cap is there for exactly this.

Where TicketSquad helps
Keep the Ring plan in one basket, like the buy.
The Ring's best moments are campsite mornings and headline nights, not phase-price arguments in the group chat. This festival hands its easiest weekend to the crews that answered the Ring-or-Park question early, bought in one basket, and pitched camp on Wednesday with nothing left to decide.
TicketSquad gives a Ring crew one home for the decisions that matter: Ring or Park, buyer assignment under the ten-ticket cap, phase-price budgets, camping tier choices, vehicle and power badge needs, instalment trackers and the fanSALE watch for latecomers.
For a festival that sells out on trust and steps its prices without warning, the shared plan is the difference between the launch price and the ladder.
This is one way we help
The event page becomes the plan, not just the place you store names.
Once the ticket method is clear, the next question is everything around it: where the official links are, what kind of ticket or package the squad is aiming for, what the lineup status is, how people get there, where they sleep, and what they should know before they arrive. TicketSquad keeps that event knowledge beside the data your squad needs to submit.
Event preview
Rock am Ring 2027
Rock am Ring 2027 returns to the Nürburgring from 4 to 6 June, with the main camping areas open from Wednesday 2 June until Monday 7 June. blink-182 is the first and currently only announced headliner.
Official links and sale routes
In the app, these links sit next to the sale-day plan so nobody is digging through old chats for the official route when the queue opens.
Ticket and package choices
Lineup
Lineup details are still TBC. The event page keeps a clear slot for them so the squad can update the plan when official announcements land.
Buying tickets
Buy primary while it's there
Eventim still lists the 2027 Festival Ticket from €252 and marks demand as high. Shipping is extra. Rock am Ring's launch price was €249 before the seller's booking fee, so check the live total before you pay.
Travel & accommodation
Plan for the Wednesday opening
most 2027 camping and parking products run from 12:00 on 2 June until 12:00 on 7 June. Trackside premium areas open later on Wednesday, so match arrival time to the product you actually bought.
When you're there
The whole site is cashless
the current terms require registration in the festival payment system. Keep the wristband chip after the weekend until any remaining balance has been paid out.
Your data for this event
This is the form Rock am Ring 2027 members would fill in for themselves, so the coordinator is not translating screenshots into a buyer sheet at the worst possible moment.
