FAQ

The questions people actually ask - what TicketSquad is and isn't, payments, your data, notifications, and how to reach a human.

What does TicketSquad actually do?

TicketSquad helps a group of friends prepare for a high-demand ticket sale together: agreeing who is in, splitting into buying groups that match the seller's per-person limit, collecting the registration details the sale will ask for, and knowing the moment tickets go live. The overall process shows the whole journey.

We do not sell tickets and we are not a ticket seller. You buy from the official seller as normal; TicketSquad is the coordination that happens around it.

Does TicketSquad handle payments?

No. TicketSquad never asks for card or payment details in the ticket flow, and buying a ticket always happens on the official seller's site. (The optional Crew/Pro subscriptions for organisers are handled by Stripe, separately from anything sale-related.)

Who can see my details?

It depends on whether the event is Open or Closed: Closed events keep answers marked sensitive inside your own buying group, with a few deliberate, documented exceptions (coordinators, your group's helpers, and the audited sale-day hand-off). The privacy section explains exactly who sees what, and the Privacy Policy is the formal version.

Can I delete my account?

Yes - at any time, from Account settings, and it's immediate and permanent. An event or community you were running is handed to a successor where one exists (a co-coordinator or admin, else the longest-standing member); with nobody left to hand it to, it's deleted with you. Two narrow traces can outlive the account: a confirmed ticket hand-over keeps its minimal name-snapshot record (it's someone else's proof of an obligation), and a review photo can briefly survive a storage hiccup during erasure.

How do notifications work?

Sale-day alerts, reminders and outcome updates can reach you by email, push notification, or in the app. Email and push each have a per-category switch in Account settings; the in-app feed is always on (it's just the app showing you your own events). One deliberate exception on email: the ticket-critical messages - your group's sale-day link, outcome confirmations, and ticket-transfer claims - always send, because missing one can cost tickets.

Something looks wrong - how do I report it?

Email team@ticket-squad.io with what you saw and what you expected - screenshots help, and naming the event makes answers much faster. A human reads everything; two working days is the usual turnaround, so if a sale is imminent, say so in the subject line.

For security issues specifically, please email rather than raising them in a public channel, and give us a chance to fix it before disclosing.

Where do I get help with a specific festival's tickets?

That's what the guides are for - per-event sale dates, registration requirements, and buying tactics for the festivals and tours we cover. (The guides section also keeps the four product tutorials, which the sidebar here links under Tutorials.)
